Account Lock and Password Reset
ProofPilot believes in security that creates peace of mind. However, security that creates usability and accessibility issues is a barrier to both good actors and bad.
Researchers and participants may try to login to ProofPilot 3x with an incorrect username-password combination. On the the third try, ProofPilot locks access for that username. Within seconds ProofPilot automatically sends an e-mail or SMS message to the contact information (SMS and/or e-mail) on file to quickly reset a password and regain access.
This prevents unauthorized access with a high degree of customer service.
