Tidier URLs in SMS Messages
ProofPilot’s text message links are now shorter and tidier. Technically, the maximum number of characters in an SMS messages is 160 characters. This update reduces the likelihood that SMS messages will be split in two when delivered to participants.
For participants who elect to receive SMS text messages, ProofPilot sends the following messages with URLs under the following circumstances:
- When a study professional invites a participant to a study via the ProofPilot Proctor Invite functionality.
- When a rule triggers and assigns a new task to a participant. This task could be a measurement, treatment, intervention or reward.
- When a task is about ready to expire.
- When a participant forgets their password. ProofPilot sends out a reset link via SMS.
